Indictment against Naim Murseli and 3 others, Liridona's brother reacts: A

The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina has announced that it has filed an indictment against four people for the murder of 30-year-old Liridona Ademaj in November 2023, following the completion of the investigation.

Among them was Liridona's husband, Naim Murseli.

The prosecutor in the case, Javorka Perlinčević, said she could not provide many details about the indictment, but added that, while living in Sweden, Liridona and Naimi had "turbulent marital relations", which resulted in "property problems".

"You can learn the other reasons Naimi had for planning and committing this murder in court when the main hearing begins ," Perlincevic said.

After the prosecution's conference, Liridon's brother, Liridon Ademaj, spoke to the media, saying that he welcomed the filing of the indictment, but hopes that the court will impose capital punishment on the accused as soon as possible.

"We welcome the filing of the indictment. On behalf of the family, I thank you all, the prosecution and the investigation. We have believed in justice and continue to believe. What we want is for the court to impose a capital punishment as soon as possible to ease our hearts and those of her children. We have not received the indictment. The children have understood everything. Their situation is not that good. The state, which knows best with adequate people, takes care of this. But what we see is very sad. We have not yet read the indictment, when we read it we will see (the motive). It is a difficult day for us," he said.
