Margaret Lake, known as Mystic Meg, has died aged 80. The astrologer had written daily horoscopes for The Sun newspaper for nearly 23 years. Her agent of 34 years, Dave Shapland, told The Sun:

"She was without question Britain's most famous astrologer. No one approached Meg in this regard. It was followed by millions in this country and also around the world. It has even become part of the English language - if a politician, a showbiz person or ordinary people in the street are asked a tricky question they will say "Who do you think I am, Mystic Meg? That shows the influence she."
