The businessman was arrested in Mykonos where he was spending the holidays with Angela Martin and he was released just one day after his arrest after it was verified that his case was closed in Italy, despite any claims by Romanian authorities.

But recently, the couple gave an interview to the Greek media "Protothema", where the Romanian businessman said that he considers Romania's request an illegal act, linking it to Ceausescu's time. He also stressed that he intends to file a lawsuit against Romanian authorities.
