The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has presented the new composition of the DP National Council, emphasizing that it is dominated by teachers and academics, while a wide range of professions is represented.

According to Berisha, academics and professors make up 11.8% of the members of the National Council, followed by lawyers and advocates with 9.7%, former MPs with 8.9% and teachers and educators with 8.4%.

The composition also includes representatives from the fields of economics and finance (6.8%), medicine and health (5.1%), business (3.8%), media and journalism (3.8%), engineering (3.8%), and art and culture (3.4%).

Berisha emphasized that the new Council also includes former mayors, architects, urban planners, diplomats and security experts, describing this diverse representation as an important basis for drafting the political vision and preparing the DP for the future government.
