2 months after Martin Can's murder, parents: Institutions are not responding to us, we demand justice

2 months after Martin Can's murder, parents: Institutions are not

Citizens and parents of Martin Can, the teenager who was killed outside the 'Fan Noli' school in Tirana, have returned to protests.

The parents of the 14-year-old are seeking justice, as they say they have not received any reaction from the institutions to shed light on the tragic event.

"Silence kills more than anything. We have been experiencing this great drama for two months and we have had no reaction, neither from the prosecutor nor from the school nor from the health service, because Martini made a big tour of Tirana taking him to the military hospital because the military hospital did not have any machines to keep his heart going.

I call on Albanian children to unite for the cause. The end has come. The child is above all. I have no words,. But we are experiencing a tragic event, we have a great trauma. I call on parents, institutions... because we are afraid. Once I went to the Prosecutor's Office and the prosecutor told me that we will go to the end. But two months have passed and nothing," said the 14-year-old's father.

"I only want justice. No one has contacted me. I have made my messages public and I only want justice," said Martin's mother.
