The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of businessman Pëllumb Gjoka for the revocation of the security measure.

The decision was taken by the trial body composed of Ilir Panda, Albana Boksi and Medi Bici, where Gjoka contested the decision of the Special Appeal to uphold the "prison arrest" measure.

"The non-acceptance of the appeal submitted by the petitioner Pëllumb Gjoka, against the decision no. 30 (87-2023-45), dated 15.02.2024 of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime".

Pëllumb Gjoka is accused by the Special Prosecutor's Office of committing the criminal offense of "premeditated murder", committed in cooperation with Gjin Ndoj, an event recorded in August 2020 in Shkodër.

In addition to this event, the businessman is accused of cooperating with other persons, having provided the conditions to kill the former prison policeman Kleanth Musabelliu, Dorjan Duli and Ibrahim Lici.
