This short publicity spot that we just made is a tribute to the owner of this hotel, who is not such an unknown person, but the representative of the people of Vlora in the parliament from the ranks of the majority, Mr. Anduel Tahiraj. The hotel owned by the deputy has been operating since 2023, a fact that is also confirmed by the reviews left by vacationers, but for more than a year, it has been working unregistered, both in the National Business Center and in Vlora Local Revenue Directorate. In short, clearly, work in the dark, avoiding obligations and causing fiscal evasion to the detriment of the state. To document what we said, on August 30 we addressed a request for information to the Tax Department of Vlora Municipality. Five days later, on September 4, the institution replied that this business is active with the NIPT, which results in the name of the deputy's brother, who since 2017 until recently has had the field of activity "Pharmacy and Veterinary Clinic".

A hotel registered with the nephew of the healer of dogs and cats. Zero creativity. But this is where the beauty begins, because the deputy has eyes and ears everywhere. Even more so in the municipality of Vlora. After we sent the letter, and the municipality was preparing the answer, which came to us on September 4, the magic worked and on September 3, just 1 day before, the deputy's hotel was registered.

But we can't finish so soon. We can even say how far we have started, because in addition to tax evasion, the MP also committed the criminal offense of "Refusal to declare, not declare, hide or falsely declare assets", based on Article 257/a, of the Criminal Code.

Based on the statement he signed before assuming the office of deputy, Tahiraj stated that he owns 25% of this property, while after taking office, he transferred it to his parents.

Regarding these documented accusations, the deputy categorically denies being the owner of the hotel and also claims that he does not know the name "Bee Hotel" at all.

The declaration of wealth is a legal obligation, which aims to avoid informality, the use of the position for personal purposes, as well as to enable transparency by all citizens, thus reducing the risk of corruption.

While concealing wealth, as we told you above, is a criminal offense and as such is punishable by a fine and imprisonment from 6 months to 3 years.
