Arlind Kajoshi, suspected of beating Vladimir Bruçi, arrested in Shkodra

Arlind Kajoshi, one of three young men wanted for the violence against 62-year-old Vladimir Bruçi, an event that occurred on June 3, 2024, has been arrested by the police. His arrest took place in the late hours of Saturday, in an abandoned apartment in the village of Shtoj, where he had been hiding for months.

Kajoshi is accused of, together with Samuel Troshani and Izmir Sakica, having physically assaulted Bruçi over a trivial parking dispute. The incident caused a stir due to the brutality of the attack and the connections between the people involved.

Vladimir Bruçi is the father of Alban Bruçi, a name known to the police, who on September 7, 2024 attempted to physically eliminate Arlindi's brother, boxer and champion Arjon Kajoshi, which turned the conflict between the two families into an open clash.

Shkodra Police confirm that they are continuing the search for the other two people involved in the beating, while the materials for Arlind Kajoshi have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Shkodra Court, for further criminal prosecution.
