Attempted to kill 58-year-old man with axe in Fier, father arrested, son wanted

A violent conflict between several people in the village of Shtyllas in Fier has ended with one person seriously injured and an arrest. The incident occurred on Saturday morning, where due to a petty argument, a 58-year-old man was shot with a cutting tool, suspected to be an axe, by a father and son.

According to the Fier Police, citizens PP, 63 years old, and his son NP, 40 years old, attacked citizen Ll. M., 58 years old, with an axe, who was urgently transported to the hospital, where he is under the care of doctors.

Thanks to the rapid intervention of the Fier Police Station, the 63-year-old man was arrested in flagrante delicto, while his son is being sought by the police. The axe used in the attack was also seized at the scene, which serves as material evidence in the investigation.

The arrested perpetrator is charged with "Premeditated Murder", committed in collaboration and remaining an attempt. The police have continued their work to capture the accomplice and fully clarify the circumstances of the conflict.
The investigative materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Fier Court.
