New details have been revealed about the accident that occurred in the early hours of the morning near the city of Koblenz, Germany, where three Albanian citizens lost their lives and several others were injured.

According to reports, the victims are a 53-year-old man and two women aged 47 and 65. They, along with six other people aged between 20 and 66, were returning from a family holiday in the state of Hesse.

The accident happened at around 3:05 a.m. when a minibus carrying nine passengers veered off the road to the right and then overturned. German police said no other vehicles were involved in the initial accident, but another car ran over the wreckage shortly after the incident.

The causes of the accident are still unclear, while authorities are continuing their investigations to fully clarify the circumstances. Also, the identities of some of the people in the vehicle have not yet been fully confirmed, where it is learned that in addition to Albanians, there were also other foreign citizens.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania has confirmed the tragic loss of life and expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, as well as wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. The Albanian Consulate and Embassy in Germany are continuing their cooperation with the local authorities to assist the citizens affected by this serious event.
