Businessman Gentian Sula has appealed the "compulsory appearance" measure imposed on him as part of the corruption investigation related to the file of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj.
The request for reconsideration of the decision was submitted by Sula's lawyer to the Special Appeal. Sula is under investigation for suspicions of corruption, in a case that is being pursued by the judiciary.
He is part of a group of businessmen who are involved in the investigation regarding suspicions that they benefited from tenders from the Municipality of Tirana during the period that Veliaj was at its head.
