'Non-grata' from USA, Aqif Rakipi reacts: I have no connection, it is

The US announced two days ago that it included in the "black list", the former socialist MP Aqif Rakipi and the businessman and Ora News, Ylli Ndroqi, for involvement in corruption.

Ndroqi reacted the same day after the decision stating that he would remove the name from the list of "non-women".

Aqif Rakipi, contacted by 5pyetje.al , commented on the US decision to declare 'non-grata'. Rakipi says he has nothing to do with the allegations made by America, denying having a business or bank account there.

The former MP adds that he sees the announcement "non-grata" more as a political impetus, while delegating the blame to the former leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha.

Aqif Rakipi lost his mandate as a deputy in 2018 as a result of the decriminalization law. But in the last parliamentary elections held on April 25, 2021, his son, Ornaldo Rakipi was elected with a surprise number of votes Socialist Party MP in Tirana.

I have no comment. Nor do I have to do with that part at all.

I will see them.

Yes.

-Who are you blaming?

Lul Basha is worried.
