Presidency: Ilir Meta's phone number has been misused, we demand an international investigation

The spokesman of the presidency, Tedi Blushi has denounced that some people have sent these days messages with insulting and threatening content to the address of some citizens on the cell phone of President Ilir Meta.

In a statement to the media, Blushi says that for this event of misuse of the number of the President of the Republic "an immediate and international investigation will be required".

On behalf of the President of the Republic Ilir Meta, I strongly condemn the consumption of the criminal offense of misuse of telephone messages, allegedly on behalf of the Head of State, by some identified persons, who according to the provided data, have sent these days messages with offensive content and threatening to address some citizens.

These desperate acts are the authorship of those who bought and stole the mandates of the deputies on April 25 and now they are not enjoying them.

We apologize to all citizens who have received such messages, please let us know immediately.

This criminal scandal of misuse of the number of the President of the Republic will require immediate and international investigation, because if our institutions were functional no one would dare to commit such crazy and legally punishable acts that they could put in serious danger to the national security of the Republic of Albania, a NATO member country.

We thank the former Mayor of Berat, Mr. Petrit Sinaj, the former Mayor of Skrapar, Mr. Nesim Spahiu, MP Lefter Maliqi, former MP Silva Caka and many others, who informed us immediately.

Once again we apologize to all citizens for the concerns that have created such messages, which have only one person in charge: the Renaissance Organization.

It is precisely this organization that mafia and illegally hijacked the personal data of all citizens for the purposes of electoral political surveillance and blackmail.

When they dare to commit such a crime by daring to fabricate the official telephone number of the President of the Republic, what can these thugs do to ordinary citizens?
