Albania's EU Rapporteur Raises Alarm: Role of Balkan groups in cocaine

Albania's EU rapporteur, David Lega, has raised the alarm over the expansion of Balkan groups, including Albania, into the international cocaine trade.

In a Twitter post, Lega emphasizes that Albanian gangs play an active role in the cocaine trade, and therefore appeals to the authorities to further strengthen the fight against organized crime.

" Some sources confirm the expanded role of Balkan groups in the international cocaine trade and the authorities of other European countries and the identified Albanian groups that are particularly active. "Albania must further strengthen the fight against organized crime!", Writes the MEP.
