The assets of Gëzim Çela's relatives are seized, including 12 cars

The assets of the relatives of Gëzim Çela, otherwise known as the "Drug Baron", have been seized by order of SPAK, as it is suspected that they have benefited from the trafficking of narcotics.

It is about assets registered in the name of Gëzim Çela's ex-wife, Miranda Thardori, as well as in the name of Gëzim Çela's grandson, Nerim Çela.

The Special Prosecutor's Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime, following the procedural actions related to the property proceeding No. 14, of 2023, within the framework of which with the decision No. 27, dated 09.10.2023, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, has seized some assets of persons suspected of being involved in the criminal activity of drug trafficking (previous notice https://spak .gov.al/njoftim-per-shtyp-date-10-10-2023/ ), has continued with investigative actions, in relation to the identification and tracking of assets suspected of illegal sources.

In the framework of investigative and procedural actions, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, based on Law No. 10 192, dated 03.12.2009, "On preventing and combating organized crime, trafficking, corruption and other crimes through preventive measures against wealth", (amended), with decision No. 13, dated 17.03.2024, has accepted the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office, establishing the provisional measure of seizure of assets as follows:

1. Property of the type "Commercial Unit", with an area of ​​237 m2, owned by the citizen M.Th., located in Tirana, with a sale price of 321,120 Euros (according to the order contract dated 18.02.2008);

2. Property of the "Apartment" type, with an area of ​​74 m2, owned by the citizen M.Th., located in Tirana, with a sale price of 42,200 Euros;

3. Property of the "Apartment" type, with a total area of ​​77.2 m2, owned by the citizen M.Th., located in Tirana, with a sale price of 40,000 Euros;

4. BMW X3 3.0D vehicle, owned by the citizen N.Ç.;

5. Mercedes Benz brand van vehicle, Type 639, Model Vito 109 CDI, owned by subject N.Ç.;

6. The total monetary amount of 4 576 585 Lek, in the bank accounts of the citizen N.Ç;

7. The monetary amount in total of 57,219 Euros, namely in the bank account of citizen N.Ç. and seized CASH from G.Ç citizens;

8. Subject "X……." sh.pk, with administrator and sole partner citizen G.Gj, all its assets, such as real estate, movable property, bank accounts, etc., including movable property, vehicles as follows:

– Volkswagen Golf, 2015 production;
-BMW, ​​2011 production;
-Volkswagen, 2006 production;
-Audi, 2007 production;
-BMW, ​​2004 production;
-Fiat "Doblo", produced in 2014;
-Mercedez Benz, 2010 production;
