The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana based on the report of the SC citizen in the capacity of the administrator of the company "Wisdom" shpk has registered criminal proceedings no. 4148 of 2024 for the criminal offense "Forgery of school documents" provided by Article 187/2 of the Criminal Code.
The case is at the stage of investigations and more detailed information about the investigative actions at this stage cannot be made available due to investigative secrecy.
A few days ago, the Italian authorities arrested 2 administrators of the 'Wisdom' university, during an operation by the Italian police, related to a fraud scheme with fake diplomas. Along with the two administrators, 7 other people ended up in handcuffs.
