The gang of "Rind" and "Qorri" coordinated drug trafficking in Rome, Elsa Lila was careful not to leave 'traces'

Italian police on Wednesday cracked down on an Albanian-Italian clan involved in drug trafficking. Among the 13 arrested as suspects in involvement in trafficking, was the Albanian singer Elsa Lila. Lila's role was to manage the group's money.

Italian media have uncovered details of how the group's work functioned, the roles played by members and the gang's ties to Albanians. The gang used cell phones to organize meetings, had found safe apartments to hide and places where they kept drugs.

To organize the sale of drugs, the group gathered in front of two bars in particular, one in Acilia and the other in the Giardino area of ​​Rome. It was during the meetings in the bar that meetings with clients were managed and purchases were made to launch new groups of drugs.

Gang of Albanians of Italy

The investigation was launched in 2019 by Capogna who supplied the group with drugs. From there, investigators arrived at Bardhi Petriti, an Albanian boxer known as 'Titi', who in 2015 was already involved in financial investigations that had seen him as the protagonist of Fabrizio Piscitelli's gang, known as Diabolik.

Investigators discovered a group of drugs coordinated by "Rindi" and "Qorri", two Albanians aged 36 and 33 respectively. Along with them, in the group, among others, were 'Cesk', the right wing of 'Rind' and a 48-year-old from Rome, who had the task of storing drugs in what had been returned to the warehouse, in Torreveçhia.

 The other storage bases, on the other hand, were in Vitinia and Acilia. On the other hand, Albanians in Rome are numerous and strong, underlined by the map of the underworld in the capital, signed by the anti-mafia investigation directorate in 2021.

The arrest of the Albanian singer Elsa Lila

Two famous personalities are also arrested: Alessandro Corvesi and Elsa Lila. The first, 32 years old, a former footballer, who got into trouble in 2021 because over 26 kilograms of cocaine were found, which, according to investigators, "could have earned almost 5 million euros and was destined to supply the main squares of drug trafficking in Rome. and the coastline ”.

Elsa Lila, 41, is a well-known singer in Albania, who ran the store. She was also arrested, in 2003 she sang in the Sanremo youth category and in 2014 she played the role of a judge in the fourth edition of "The Voice of Albania".
