Albanian journalist Flamur Vezaj, who has been living for years in Boston, USA, has described how the building of our consulate in New York has turned into a shelter for the homeless.

While posting on social networks a photo of a homeless person who is spending the night near the building of the Albanian consulate, the journalist writes how she, but legalized in the name of the Albanian state, in this building, the apartments of Albanian officials in the Security Council are also located !

According to him, for many years, due to acquaintances in Albania, they continue to live in these offices and apartments because they have warm shoulders there!

"The hands of the clock are approaching morning! It's the beginning of December and it's cold in New York! That in the picture is Nancy!! 46 year old homeless like many others in this city that never seems to sleep! Tonight, she had chosen the door of the reception hall near the Albanian Consulate to spend the night! The door is closed at night, but unfortunately also during the day!

Nancy, without being Albanian, has realized that near this door she can spend the cold evening of the beginning of December undisturbed!

As her work, but legalized on behalf of the Albanian state, in this building, the apartments of the Albanian officials in the Security Council are also located!

Some other "homeless" Albanians live there! Who, for many years, because of acquaintances in Albania, continue to vegetate in these offices and apartments because they have warm shoulders there!
