Eight police officers of the Rinas Police Station were placed under investigation as they are suspected of being involved in the illegal crossing of citizens abroad.

The investigation started after the arrest of Eneo Sulejmani, who was arrested in March of this year after trying to escape from the police patrol with drugs in his car.

According to the investigations, it turns out that Sulejmani, who owned a travel agency, was in constant contact with the police officer Tereziu, to whom he sends the data of people who bought tickets in this agency, for preliminary verification of records in the TIMS system. , to verify if they meet the conditions to travel to EU countries.

Against amounts ranging from 50 euros to 500 euros, they made possible the passage of persons who were prohibited from traveling to EU countries.

(about whom the citizen Eneo Sulejmanaj was interested if he had returned to Albania), is processed at the exit of the territory of RSH on 13.05.2023 at 14:09 by the police officer with username in the middle of TIMS, in excess of the days of stay and had not returned to Albania.
