Vullnet Sinaj's mandate, the Mandates Council meets on Friday

The Council on Rules of Procedure, Mandates and Immunity will hold a meeting on January 17, 2025, at 10:00, in the "Pjetër Arbnori" hall of the Presidency of the Assembly, where several topics are expected to be discussed, including the mandate of socialist MP Vullnet Sinaj.

One of the main points will be the continuation of the meeting on the motion presented by a group of 1/10 of the deputies of the Democratic Party. This motion requests the procedure for determining the invalidity and termination of the mandate of deputy Sinaj, as well as sending the case to the Constitutional Court.

In addition, two important draft decisions will be reviewed on the agenda:

The draft decision “On some additions to decision no. 166, dated 16.12.2004, 'On the approval of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania'” presented by MPs Blerina Gjylameti and Sorina Koti. This draft decision is expected to bring changes that will affect the internal functioning of the Assembly.
