A miner in Bulqiza was injured, hit by a massive rock in the chrome gallery

A 40-year-old miner was injured this Wednesday during working hours, after being hit by a mass of rocks in one of the galleries of the chrome mine managed by the "ACR" company in Bulqiza.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred underground, during routine work, when for reasons still unclear, a mass of stones broke loose, trapping the worker with the initials AN.

The miner was initially transported to the Bulqiza Municipal Hospital, where he received first aid. He was then sent to the Dibra Regional Hospital for more specialized examinations.

Sources from the hospital indicate that the 40-year-old is out of danger and is receiving the necessary medical treatment.

The investigation group has begun work to clarify the circumstances of the incident, while it is expected to verify whether safety measures at work were respected at the time of the accident.
