New ambassadors are dismissed and appointed, Albania's diplomatic map

The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has changed the diplomatic corps by dismissing several ambassadors and other appointees.

It is noted that some of the ambassadors, in addition to their engagement as residents in the respective country, will also be non-resident diplomats in some countries.

The President has dismissed Donika Hoxha, ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina. She will be replaced by Spiro Koçi.

Eglantina Gjermeni, Ambassador of the OSCE and International Organizations in Vienna, resident.

Dastid Koreshi has been relieved of his duties as ambassador to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. He will serve as ambassador to the United Nations Office and Other International Organizations in Geneva.

Florian Nova is appointed ambassador to Egypt as well as non-resident to Syria, Jordan, Libya, Palestine, Lebanon and Sudan.

Elvira Isufi takes up the position of Ambassador of Sweden and will serve as non-resident in Finland, Iceland and Norway.

Ermal Muça is appointed ambassador to Japan and non-resident to the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Korea.
