39-year-old Frederik Paplekaj has been arrested after allegedly placing TNT in a supermarket in this area.

The explosion occurred in the early hours of this morning, around 01:30. After the explosion, Paplekaj was arrested after a quick police investigation.

He gave a statement to the investigative group, where he emphasized that he had received the order to place the explosives from a person in prison, but did not provide further details.

At the moment of the explosion, security cameras recorded his movements, enabling the identification of the perpetrator.

Police arrested Frederik Paplekaj three hours after the explosion and charged him with the criminal offenses of “Destruction of property with explosives” and “Disturbing public peace.” Investigations are ongoing to fully elucidate the incident and other possible circumstances.
