A 44-year-old Albanian man, missing for two days in Italy, has been found in serious condition near a quarry in the area of ​​Lake Giulianello, in the municipality of Artena.

According to Italian media, the man had left the apartment after returning from work as a builder and never returned, alerting his partner, who immediately notified the authorities.

The search involved specialized units of the Fire Brigade and teams from Colleferro, who used helicopters to cover the difficult area. The 44-year-old was located and extracted to a flat area with the help of an aerial crane, to then be urgently transported to the Colleferro hospital.

It is suspected that he had consumed poisonous substances, which has raised suspicions of a suicide attempt. He is currently hospitalized in serious condition and with a reserved prognosis.
