Three teenagers tragically lost their lives in Kosovo yesterday (February 1) after an old building collapsed in the village of Jabllanicë, Gjakova.

According to Kosovo media, one of the victims was the only child in the family. A family member said that the parents were worried and concerned because their children were not answering their phones. They immediately went out to look for them, and at that moment one of the parents saw the collapsed building.

"They went out like young people playing with their friends. We called the police, the police came very quickly, the ambulance, the firefighters, when we found them with no signs of life. We discovered that we had been looking for them in this neighborhood, that they had gone out to play. The building was in order, when we saw it collapsed, we suspected that they were in it, we called them on the phone, their phones had been broken inside," said one of the family members.
