Jason Derulo splits from Jena Frumes 4 months after becoming parents: We have

Jason Derulo and Jena Frumes are separated

Derulo, 32, announced that he and his girlfriend Jena Frumes have split, almost five months after the former couple welcomed their son Jason King. The two began meeting in March 2020.

"Jena and I have decided to separate," Derulo wrote on Twitter. "She is an amazing mother, but we think being separated at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we can be."

"Please respect our privacy at this time," he concluded his post.

Frumes, 28, and Derulo, who have a birthday in one day, celebrated their birthdays in Aspen, Colorado just the day before, with Frumes sharing a sweet post about the singer.

"Blessed to share the same birthday with my boyfriend. You are the most handsome man, hardworking, talented, stupid, loving ever," the model wrote for Derulon on Wednesday. "You make me really complete and I am very grateful for the love we share. You and our mini make me the happiest girl in the world and I look forward to making more memories with you guys."

Frumes deleted the post, but kept other photos with the singer of "Swallow" on her Instagram. The former couple became parents to Jason King on May 8 and have decided to keep his private portrait.
