Netflix recognizes Kosovo as a state

Just a few months ago, Kosovo Albanians opened a petition for Kosovo to be recognized as a state by the Netflix platform.

"When Kosovo Albanians enter Netflix, their location appears as if they were in Serbia, even though they are using the platform from the Republic of Kosovo," the petition said.

The open online petition was signed by 37,000 people and proved once again that anything can be achieved if all people come together. Petitions "Add Kosovo as a country in Netflix".

Finally, Netflix has recognized Kosovo as a state and this news was given by the initiator of this petition, Sovran Hoti.

"It did not take 200 thousand, with 37 thousand signatures and about 2 months, Netflix heard our call. Netflix has added Kosovo to the list of countries with the phone code +383 on their platform.
