A clear and wide victory for New Democracy over SYRIZA is reflected in the exit polls that were published shortly after the closing of polling stations across Greece at 19:00 on Sunday.

The joint exit poll approved by all polling companies and all television stations shows that ND's lead over SYRIZA could reach 11 percentage points in the election.

According to the joint exit poll, New Democracy is expected to get between 36% and 40%. SYRIZA is moving to much lower levels from 25% to 29% which according to the data of this hour seems to be the maximum percentage for the party of Alexis Tsipras.

PASOK/Movement for Change comes out as the third force with a percentage from 9.5% to 12.5%. KKE is expected to collect a percentage of 6% to 8%. The Greek solution is registered with rates from 3.5% to 5.5%.

Thrillers are expected in the coming hours for Yanis Varoufakis' MeRA25 and Zoe Konstantopoulou's Freedom Voyage. MePA25 occupies 2.5% to 4.5% of the electorate and is expected to enter - if only slightly - the Parliament. A long night is predicted for Zoi Konstantopoulou's party, which looks set to garner a percentage of 2.2% to 4.2% and an average of 3.2% that puts Freedom Sailing in Parliament.

The exit poll was jointly developed by polling companies ALCO, MARC, METRON ANALYSIS, MRB HELLAS AE, Pulse and GPO on behalf of six nationwide television stations.
