The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has presented the candidates for deputies in the Lezha Region, who will compete in the elections of May 11. During his speech, Berisha gave a summary of his activity in Strasbourg, regarding the denunciation of Edi Rama's drug regime in Albania, where, according to him, the Prime Minister has had the door slammed in his face.

This morning I left the capital of Europe, Strasbourg, for Lezha and I cannot help but convey to you the warmest greetings of the group of European People's Parties in the Council of Europe, the Parliamentary Assembly, of the group of Democrats and Conservatives whose eyes and minds are focused on the victory of the opposition in Albania, on its dominance over the narco-state and the salvation of Albania.
Friends, I returned very grateful, I returned truly optimistic and certain that the support of our friends is greater than ever.
But I want to tell you here that I also felt a real sense of shame, because in the oldest temple of European democracy, the temple of values, freedoms and human rights and free elections, Edi Rama's dinner had been canceled. Yes.
Thus becoming the first invited guest whose dinner was canceled. However, I guarantee you that the respect for Albania and Albanians, the support of parliamentarians from the center-right and conservative groups is extraordinary and I represented each of you there, I represented your will.
Of course, I represented every Albanian who knows how to behave like an Albanian and does not force the host to slam the door in their face.
Edi Rama is not the only Albanian.
