Rama, Vucic and Dimitrov meet with Alexander Soros in Serbia
Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Serbia due to meetings within the "Open Balkan" initiative. He, along with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Deputy Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov, met with Alexander Soros, the son of renowned American philanthropist George Soros.
A photo from their meeting has been circulated in the media, but there is no statement from the leaders regarding what has been discussed. George Soros has good relations with Prime Minister Edi Rama, and there have been many accusations and theories that Rama has been helped politically by Soros foundations.
We remind you that the next meeting within the "Open Balkan" will take place in Tirana at the end of December. Dimitrov, who replaced Zoran Zaev at the meeting after the latter resigned as prime minister, said that Northern Macedonia would not leave the initiative.
"Open Balkan" has been rejected by Kosovo, Montenegro and Bosnia. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rama "sells" it as a successful initiative for the development of the country and its citizens.
