Blushi: Vote for PD-ASHM to guarantee a better future for every Albanian

The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, has made a strong statement regarding the economic and social situation of Albania, emphasizing that the country is engulfed in a deep crisis that has affected all citizens.

Blushi has harshly criticized Rama's government for the support it gives to a minority affiliated with it and has proposed a concrete plan to eliminate poverty and improve living conditions for Albanian citizens.

He has invited citizens to vote for the Democratic Party and the Alliance for a Greater Albania on May 11 to bring about the necessary change and stop this deplorable situation.

Statement by the Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Mr. Tedi Blushi:

Albania, the poorest country in the region and in Europe, is facing a deep economic and social crisis every day.

The country with the lowest salaries and most miserable pensions in Europe has the highest costs of living in the region, a dramatic gap that continues to widen even in Edi Rama's final days in power.

Prices of basic foods are rising rapidly, surpassing those of European Union countries.

In March 2025, according to INSTAT itself, the Consumer Price Index reached 2.1%. Food increased by 3%, while basic products such as milk, cheese and eggs increased by up to 4.6%, vegetables increased by 4% and meat by 3.3% compared to March of last year.

This abusive and unstoppable price increase is a direct blow to Albanian families, especially young people, pensioners, all those who survive on economic aid and handouts, and the needy.

While citizens face extreme poverty and 80% of Albanians today live in dire economic conditions, Edi Rama's government continues to turn a blind eye to reality, continuing to prioritize oligarchs and the enrichment of a minority politically connected to them.

This is the "Renaissance" that promised Albanians hope and prosperity, but which in 12 years only sowed poverty, social exclusion, and pressures to make a living.

This dramatic situation ends on May 11th only by voting for No. 1 "PD-Alliance for a Greater Albania".

We have a concrete plan that we will make a reality in the first 100 days by eradicating extreme poverty through a living wage of 200 euros for every Albanian, for every pensioner, with full or partial pension, for every unemployed person or person on economic assistance, for every student with a scholarship and every orphan.

There will be no more Albanians, pensioners with full or partial pensions counting their food, who will no longer be able to buy medicine, there will be no more unemployed citizens, citizens on economic assistance, students on scholarships, or orphans in families who will receive less than 200 euros.

Pensions will increase by 20%.

The minimum wage will be 500 euros within 3 months. All VAT on their purchases will be refunded and every pensioner, citizen with a living wage or minimum wage (500 euros) will be provided with a Consumer Card, with which they will benefit from a refund of the VAT they pay for purchases of basic food, electricity, water and medicines, benefiting around 450 euros per year.

The price of electricity will be reduced to 7 lek/kWh and the price of oil will be reduced by 35-40%.

All fines for electricity and drinking water for pensioners will be waived.

For people with disabilities who need it, the caretaker and his insurance will be paid, and all the sanitary and auxiliary means they need will be guaranteed by the state.

Our program is an opportunity for every young person, every pensioner, every worker, every farmer, every salaried employee, every teacher who will have a minimum salary of 1,500 euros, every doctor and nurse who will have a doubled salary, to increase their well-being and live with dignity in their Homeland.

The DP-ASHM will make the average salary 1200 euros, a European salary for a European job, so that citizens do not leave, so that Albania is not just a birthplace, but a place of life, work and human dignity.

May 11th is the day to punish Edi Rama, the architect who opened the doors of poverty and brought misery to the vast majority of Albanian families, with a vote.

May 11 is the day to remove the tax and fine on Albanians and to punish the most vicious enemy of freedoms and human rights, who does not have even the minimum of human respect and compassion for citizens, even bullying and insulting people with disabilities.

With the plebiscite vote of Albanians for No. 1, we will build together a Great Albania, an Albania of new and real opportunities for every Albanian to build a family, to have a job, to buy a home, to have more income.

Thank you!
