MP publishes photos from 9-year school in Tropoja: Conditions like in the Middle

Democratic Party MP Isuf Çelaj has published the deplorable condition of a 9-year school in the village of Cerrnica, Tropoja.

Through a post on social media, Çelaj writes that the building is in medieval conditions, outside any standard for teaching.

" This is the scandalous situation as in the Middle Ages of the 9-year school in the Village of Cernicë, Administrative Unit Llugaj, this village is not in a deep area of Tropoja, but only 2-3 km from the city where the Municipality building is located, since the Renaissance regime transferred the Educational Directorate to the residents of Tropoja to Lezha, like all other services!
In this school, which, as can be seen from the images, is beyond any elementary standards for conducting lessons, therefore parents say that they have told students to boycott participation in lessons and have boycotted it!
The bathrooms are without hygienic water and without electricity in terrible conditions!
The lack of an Albanian Language and Mathematics teacher also remains problematic for students!
A total of 92 students attend this school, of which 12 children are in the preschool system and 80 in the primary and nine-year cycles.
The residents of Cernicë demand that attention be turned to of state institutions for investing in school facilities and teaching staff!
They will escalate their positions if there is no reaction from these institutions! ", writes Çelaj.
