One of the decisions of today's Assembly was the creation of the Citizens' Alliance. The member of the commission that directs the work of the Assembly, Enkelejd Alibeaj informed that this organization will serve to bring prominent intellectuals in society to the DP, without the need to be members of this political force.

He said that the Civic Alliance aims to provide critical thinking and analyze the policies and initiatives of the Democratic Party. According to Alibeaj, the DP guarantees the representation of the Civic Alliance with 10% in decision-making or party leadership positions.

"In the capacity of the representative of the Commission, with the proposal of the Presidency, it is proposed to add two provisions in the statute of the Democratic Party which are dedicated to the creation of a new democratic structure called the Civic Alliance for Democracy.

After Article 58, Article 58 faction 1 will be added, which says that in addition to the partner organizations that the party has, the Civic Alliance is added, which is made by prominent intellectuals in society, who share the same values ​​and principles with the DP. Membership in the party is not a condition for membership in the Civic Alliance for Democracy.
