Alibeaj complains to the AMA: Journalists recognize Berisha as the leader of the Democratic Party, not me. The decision is in the hands of Rama and Basha's spokespeople

 

Enkelejd Alibeaj, after not being able to become president in public and politics, seems to be using the last card up his sleeve, using the intervention of the spokespeople of Edi Rama and Lulzim Basha.

Through an official letter, Alibeaj has complained to the CEC and the AMA with the argument that Sali Berisha is using the logo of the Democratic Party in the elections of May 14 and asks him to intervene in the media that qualifies him as the chairman of the Democratic Party.

"We find that some audiovisual media with national frequency refer to the deputy of the Parliament of Albania, Mr. Sali Berisha as 'Chairman of the Democratic Party', 'Democratic Party Re-Establishment Group', 'Re-Establishment Fraction in DP'.

In violation of the law no. 97/2013 'For audiovisual media', some media continue to refer to Mr. Berisha as chairman of the Democratic Party and use positions in news broadcasts that do not coincide with the legal and electoral reality. This behavior constitutes misinformation and confusion of the citizens as it pertains to the official leadership of the DP", the request states.

" Under these conditions, I request, in the capacity of the commanding head of the PD, the initiation of an administrative investigation and the taking of measures to guarantee the objective and true information of the citizens ", it is stated, among other things, in Alibeaj's request. 

However, we remember that the AMA has no legal basis and no authority to monitor how people are tagged in the studio.

Alibeaj's impotence to 'justify' the already almost candidateless seal in the local elections of May 14, has remained in the hands of Armela Krasniqi, chairperson of AMA, once spokeswoman for SP, as well as her deputy, Desada Metaj, former spokeswoman of Lulzim Basha.

Alibeaj seems to follow the principle "dreams are, you do things and they come out".
