A citizen is raped with hard objects in Saranda, one of the suspected

A serious incident was recorded today on "Gjergj Araniti" street in the city of Saranda, where a citizen was raped with hard objects by two people. The victim, citizen Orgito Brehama, is suspected of being hit with a board and an iron handle, suffering significant injuries.

Police sources indicate that the incident may be related to a previous conflict that occurred on January 2, 2025 in the village of Gjashtë, where there were violent clashes and the use of weapons between several people.

Immediately after the incident, law enforcement officers managed to escort one of the suspected perpetrators, citizen Andrea Nanai, while work continues to identify and capture the second person involved in the attack.

The injured person, Orgito Brehama, is receiving medical assistance at the Saranda emergency room, while the investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
