The Democratic Party has filed a criminal complaint with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office against the Socialist Party's candidate for deputy in the Shkodër region, Fushë-Arrëz area, Ervin Doda. In the complaint signed by the General Secretary of the DP, Flamur Noka, Doda is accused of concealing data on the decriminalization form, by not declaring an arrest and a 5-month stay in prison.

According to the complaint filed by the DP, Ervin Doda was arrested in 2016 and held in custody for about five months, under suspicion of committing criminal offenses of intimidation and illegal possession of weapons. Although he was declared innocent at the end of the trial, the DP emphasizes that the failure to declare this fact constitutes a violation of the law on decriminalization and demands that the Prosecution immediately launch investigations, reports Ballkanweb.
