Adi Çoba, Erigels Presi and Gertin Aliu had strong points in the ports where they had their people on ferries and docks. These details emerged from the telephone and environmental intercepts obtained in the “Ura” operation file.

Aliu, arrested today in Belgium, was communicating with Genci Telollari, Erigels Presi and Adi Çoba.

Gertin Aliu was involved in the delivery of narcotics in quantities of several kilograms. Among other things, it is noted that Aliu and Çoba had connections with other narcotics suppliers in Albania.

During this investigation, special investigation methods were used in Albania and Italy, which resulted in and documented several episodes of drug trafficking and the circulation of money obtained from drug trafficking, as well as the laundering of the proceeds of criminal offenses committed by members of this criminal group. The following is a detailed account of all cases/episodes of trafficking, seizure of narcotics, and episodes related to other criminal offenses attributed to the citizens under investigation:

The results obtained from telephone and environmental wiretapping have documented the fact that citizen Gertin Aliu, in collaboration with citizen Adi Çoba, had connections with other narcotics suppliers in Albania. From the data administered and the investigative actions carried out with special investigation methods, it has resulted that telephone and environmental interceptions, observations of several citizens have been carried out, where, among other things, from these interceptions it results that the citizen Erigels Presi and Genci Telollari, through the citizen Gertin Aliu, on 01.21.2021, had received 2 (two) kilograms of narcotics, of the type "heroin", described as "banana" quality, delivered to the hand of Erigels Presi, in exchange for the payment of 34 thousand euros, in cash inside a parking lot of the "Conforama" shopping center in Savelletri in Fasano (BR), from an Albanian citizen whom Presi himself had indicated as the driver of a medium-sized truck, originating from Vlora. The driver was identified as Arsen Leskaj, who, on the IONIAN STAR cruise ship, departed from the Port of Brindisi, with a truck with license plate AA268AN, on the evening of 01.12.2021, returning to Vlora.

Citizen Arsen Leskaj on December 22, 2021, was supposed to deliver to Erigels Presi 3,360 kg of pure "heroin" narcotics, transported in a Fiat Iveco Eurocargo vehicle, with Albanian license plate AA268AN, checked by the Carabinieri in Fasano (BR) who found the quantity of narcotics. After the seizure of the narcotics, Arsen Leskaj was arrested in flagrante delicto, during the phases of the check he was contacted several times by a certain "Tani nga Fieri" and by "Nardi".

From the wiretaps and observations it turns out that Gertin Aliu was involved in sending narcotics, sometimes in quantities of several kilograms, with the help of port operators who carried them with them to avoid checks and then handed them over to truck drivers when he was on the vessel "to bring it in, Gerti told me (..) he told me "no, they don't take it directly, the money is shared with him on the ferry" (...) it is worked on the ferry, it is put one on one and two on two and then loaded on the ferry. Circumstances confirmed by Adi Çoba himself Erigels PRESI: "I asked Adi and I said: How?... here and there... he answered me: come on, beast on the ferry, it is worked on the ferry, they put it on one on one with two on two and then they load it on the ferry!".
