Berisha meets with Mickoski at the EPP Congress: Right-wing alliance against

During the proceedings of the Congress of European People's Parties (EPP), a bilateral meeting took place between the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, and the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accompanied by their respective delegations.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the two sister parties, reinforcing common conservative values, and the challenges that European integration poses for the Western Balkans. The parties emphasized the necessity of closer political coordination and mutual support in facing current challenges.

Mickoski expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the Democratic Party, wishing it the best possible outcome in the May 11 elections. He also offered concrete support in the form of electoral expertise, emphasizing the importance of a consistent conservative line and maintaining alliances with the Trump administration.

" I hope that after May 11 we will have two right-wing governments that share not only borders, but also common political and national values ," said Mickoski.

At the meeting, the Macedonian Prime Minister also shared his experience in confronting the influence of organizations funded by the Open Society Foundation (Soros), stating that after his election victory, projects such as the legalization and licensing of cannabis have been blocked. He underlined the importance of protecting traditional family principles and resisting progressive agendas that, according to him, undermine the foundations of the state and society.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual respect, with a commitment to further deepen inter-party relations and regional cooperation within the framework of right-wing European values.
