Berisha at the EPP Congress: Rama has a coordinator for criminal gangs in his

The leader of the Democrats, Sali Berisha, spoke at the EPP Congress where he raised the country's main concerns and the way Rama governs the country with the involvement of gangs.

Berisha pointed out before the EPP Congress that Rama has an advisor tasked with coordinating the work of criminal organizations. He also stressed that the government has blocked televised debates and turned his narco-state into an electoral machine.

"I also want to thank friends from the CDU, Elmar Brok, Peter Beyer, Doris Pack, friends from Forza Italia in Italy, Battilòcchio, Erika Mazzetti, etc., who have been by our side in some difficult days.

Ladies and gentlemen, Albania today is the first and only narco-state in Europe, where all power is in the hands of a single man. As international observers have noted, through a mafia-like vote-buying industry and a massive intimidation machine, he has put the will of the citizens under complete control and turned the elections into a facade.

The prime minister, who shows up at international summits in white sneakers and commits robberies, behaves like a full-fledged dictator in the country. He controls the entire economy. He controls the entire media. In the end, he blocked TikTok, making the country look like Kabul and Tehran.

Like Zayed of Tunisia, in an election year, he chose to arrest three leaders of the main opposition parties, just because they were political opponents – and without any, any, any criminal evidence. He took away the mandate from the opposition leaders. He took away the mandate from the opposition mayors, as in the case of Fredi Beleri, who is today an MEP, because the only reason was that Beleri refused to give him land that does not belong to the Rama family.

Ladies and gentlemen, in addition, the tyrannical dictator, the narco-dictator, has bribed the FBI's chief of counterintelligence, Charles McGonigal, to work against the Albanian opposition. He gave him $225,000, but I assure you that he was not the only one who was bribed against the opposition. Documents, thousands of documents from partner countries, prove today that the state and crime are a joint venture in my country.

In the prime minister's office, there is an advisor tasked with coordinating the work of criminal organizations – from the Sinaloa cartels in Mexico, now run by Albanian brothers, to gangs within the country.

According to Eurostat, from 2014 to 2023, 1,099,000 Albanians immigrated to the Schengen area. As a result, according to the UN, Albania today has the lowest birth rate in the world. In addition, the country is one of the main exporters of crime in Europe.

General parliamentary elections will be held on May 11. In these elections, in addition to all that I mentioned above, he has blocked televised debates, distributed 100 euros as a gift for votes to 800,000 pensioners, and given out 100 licenses for cannabis cultivation under the slogan “Cannabis for Votes.” He has turned his narco-state into an electoral machine.

"But, in a dictatorship, the only option is not to surrender, but to fight to overthrow it. With your help, dear friends, I assure you that the Democratic Party of Albania, which overthrew the most Stalinist dictatorship in Europe 32 years ago, will also overthrow the first and only narcotic dictatorship in Europe, that of Edi Rama ," Berisha declared at the EPP Congress.
