Attaching the photo, Berisha writes that the focus of the meeting was the May 11 parliamentary elections and the consolidation of democracy in both countries.

During the European People's Party (EPP) Congress in Valencia, we held a bilateral meeting with EPP Vice-President Siegfried Mureșan.

During this meeting, the importance of the upcoming elections in both Albania and Romania was discussed, as key elements for the consolidation of democracy in both countries.

I appreciated the EPP's continued support for the Democratic Party, manifested through the resolutions adopted in its favor, which have strengthened the DP's position in facing the democratic challenges in Albania. We also discussed the expected assistance and support that the EPP will provide for the upcoming elections, emphasizing the joint commitment to strengthening democratic values ​​and electoral standards in the country.

"The meeting took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, reaffirming the strong ties between the Democratic Party of Albania and the European People's Party," Berisha writes.
