The parents of the coach of the U-21 National Team, Alban Bushi, lost their lives in a serious road accident in Greece. According to Top Channel, the tragic event took place on "Egnatia" road, on the Veria-Thessalonica axis, near the Kouloura Imathias area.

The van with Greek license plates PMX-8942, driven by 47-year-old Greek Marios Simitliotis, collided with a "Mercedes-Benz" type car with Albanian license plates AB 454 GF, which was driven by 75-year-old Albanian Ali Bushi. The collision proved fatal for the Albanian driver and his wife, Bukurije Bushi, 71 years old, while the driver of the van was slightly injured and was handcuffed by the police.

Ali and Bukurije Bushi were the parents of Alban Bushi, the famous former striker of the Albanian National Football Team and currently the coach of the Shpresa National Team since 2016, where he has led the U-21 team in 58 matches.
