"I am an officer of the secret police of Albania", two Albanians

Two Albanians have been handcuffed by the Greek police, after being accused of a narcotics tradition. A 30-year-old man was initially arrested as his friend attempted to crush police. The two Albanians had been under surveillance for at least three months after reports that they would be trafficking cocaine.

According to Greek media, police intervened in the Megalou Vassiliou area, where the 39-year-old Albanian was approaching a Volkswagen Passat. He met the 30-year-old and handed him a bag. The latter, after receiving the order, left for a BMW car.

One of the police officers told the Greek media that when the blue uniforms called "Stop", the 30-year-old obeyed and handed over the bag with cocaine, while the 39-year-old turned the wheel and tried to hit the police.

"When he found out that he could not leave because we had blocked the road, he started again and turning the vehicle towards my colleagues and especially towards me who had approached him on foot, threatening him. There was an immediate danger of hitting us hard. "With the help of colleagues from the DIAS team and immediate action, we managed to mobilize him on the Athens-Lamia National Road , " he said.

The police officer who handcuffed his 30-year-old collaborator with BMW tells what the Albanian said to him at the time of his arrest.

"He told us that he was an Albanian secret police officer and that he was operating in Greece in order to gather information and inform the Albanian authorities and showed us a relevant document . "

The 39-year-old's wife was also handcuffed along with the two Albanians, as she is accused of being part of the same network, while investigations are underway to discover his other members.
