Mark Rothko is in his studio in New York in 1958/59, having been commissioned to paint a set of murals for the expensive and exclusive Four Seasons restaurant.

He gives orders to his assistant, Ken, while Ken mixes the paints, frames and prepares the paintings. Ken, however, eventually questions Rothko's theories of art and his willingness to work on such a commercial project. For his part, Rothko does not like the rise of pop art. In the end, Rothko stops working on the project and decides to return the money. He explains to Ken that the Four Seasons is an inappropriate place to view his murals. Actors Gentian Zenelaj and Urim Aliaj are in the roles.

The drama "Mother" will continue to be performed at the National Experimental Theater "K. Spahivogli" in Tirana on January 26, 27, 28. This work, authored by Florian Zeller, was translated by Adriana Tolka and directed by Mehmet Xhelili. The show "Mother" will bring actors Ema Andrea, Helidon Fino, Enisa Hysa and Xuliano Brisku to the stage. The scenography and video will be made by Albert Dedja, with costume design by Sofi Kara, and assistant director Klajdi Mallellari.

The work "Mother", described by its author Florian Zeller as a black farce, offers us extraordinary insight and confronts us, more than a story, with an experience that is created through it. At the center of the play is the drama of the mother, with her illness, crisis and pain, but also of other characters who cause it or are themselves victims of it. A mother's love for her son, whose departure from home the mother experiences as betrayal and the possible pathological deviations that accompany it. Added to this is the parallel situation of a marriage, which for this reason and for other reasons is suffering its decadence. The powerful messages of the work articulate not the answer, but the existential question shouted by the mother at the end of the piece: Why did it take to happen like this?

While in the last ten days of January, the children's play "My perfect grandmother" will be staged again on the dates 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28. This is a comedy full of surprises and technology for children, part of the "Education Through Art" program. The show written and directed by Endri Çela is performed by the cast of actors: Kleard Gërmenji, Adriana Tolka, graphic video designer Renato Aliçkolli, music by Florjan Hoxha, choreography: Aledia Kondaj, costume design by Sofi Kara, scenography Beqo Nanaj, video Shot Marjo Cani, lighting by Taulant Kotorri, as. director Joan Mezini.

The show "My Perfect Grandma" takes place many years later, exactly in the year 2137, where on the 55th floor of a tower in Tirana City, lives a little boy named 03. He lives with his two parents. , with two Chamorro twin brothers and a typical Albanian grandmother, 136 years old. Extremely annoyed by the 136-year-old grandmother, he asks the brothers for help, and through a chip he placed in the grandmother's brain, they begin to command and transform the grandmother as they wish.
