Albanian singer arrested by Greek police

The well-known singer of Albanian origin, from the Dropulli area, Kristos Mastoras, has been arrested by the Greek police due to his drunken state.

According to police sources cited by the Greek press, the arrest took place at night, near Omonia Square. Police confirmed that Mastoras had a blood alcohol level of 0.83 mg.

According to local media reports, he attempted to leave the checkpoint but was stopped by law enforcement. For this reason, he will appear in court today for a security measure.

 Mastoras is a well-known singer in Greece and beloved by the public.

He is of Albanian origin, from the village of Vodhine in Dropulli i Sipërm in the Gjirokastra District, but his family moved to Greece when he was 3 years old.
