Clash with the police in Maqellarë, three brothers in handcuffs

The police of Dibra have handcuffed three citizens in Maqellarë, who violently opposed the officers while exercising their duty and damaged one of the service vehicles.


The arrested are three brothers, residents of Maqellarë: AM, 64 years old, AM, 59 years old and AM, 53 years old. According to the official announcement of the Police, they will face charges of "Violent opposition to a public order officer" and "Destruction of property".


The incident happened during an intervention of the services of the Crime Investigation Sector at DVP Dibër. The police informed that the three brothers conflicted with the law enforcement forces and damaged one of the official vehicles.


"They violently opposed the police services while performing their duty and damaged one of its vehicles, the Dibra Police arrest 3 citizens", the official statement states.
