The flames in Dukat are extinguished, the Ministry of Defense makes the balance:

The Ministry of Defense has updated the information on the situation of fires in our country. According to them, the risk of fires in Dukat and Grama Bay has been eliminated.

The fire was also extinguished near the Rips border crossing in the village of Livadhja, in the municipality of Finiq, avoiding the danger to homes. Meanwhile, the flames remain under control in the village of Klysyrë in the municipality of Tropojë as well as in Vermosh in the Malësia e Madhe.

Firefighters are working to contain the blaze on the Karaburun Peninsula, Vlora. Fire is also being kept under control in the village of Gjorgos in Fier.

According to the authorities, it remains difficult to intervene to control the flames in Maja e Rruna, in Kukës, where forces are working to prevent the spread of fire in residential areas.

New fires have also been activated, both in Cape Rodon and on Mount Xhyra, Librazhd. The latter do not pose a risk.

While the fire in the village of Thirrë of Mirdita has continued to expand the perimeter, causing smoke throughout the hill. Forces are working to cut off the line of fire near the village roads.
