The person you see in the photo below is 28-year-old Bajazit Thaçi, who died yesterday evening in the accident registered in Kavajë.

He was driving a "Mercedes Benz" type vehicle and it is suspected that he lost control over driving the vehicle and as a result the vehicle went off the road and fell into the canal.

Bajazit Thaçi was also a member of the Municipal Council in Rrogozhin. In a note on social networks, the Municipal Council in Rrogozhin expressed its condolences regarding the death of the 28-year-old.

"With great regret and sadness, we announce that the member of the Municipal Council in Rrogozhin, Bajazit Thaçi, has passed away unexpectedly. This sudden loss has left a deep void in our community and has caused pain for his family and friends. He was an outstanding contributor to public service and had an unwavering commitment to the advancement of the municipality and its community.
