The Special Court has rejected the request for release from custody of the former chairman of PDK, Kadri Veseli.

The request was made by Vesel's lawyer, Ben Emmerson, who had requested that his client be temporarily released from custody.

In the response returned by the "Special", it is stated that the request can not be accepted on the grounds that there is "a constant risk of escape that will only increase if Veseli finds out all the evidence against him."
