"The mouse that was immediately caught under the mustache of the majority"

"Once a mouse passes under my mustache", this ancient expression used by our ancestors, but today I am trying to give meaning.

As I remembered this expression, the headline in the media came before my eyes: Stuck in traffic because of the opposition protest, the woman gives birth to the baby in the car.

But the majority "caught the mouse" immediately and without thinking long broke it trying to attack the political opponents.

Many government media used this headline, "crossing" the opposition who had blocked the roads protesting and the pregnant woman gave birth in the car after she could not reach the hospital due to heavy traffic.

However, some sources later clarified that the woman's family had not followed the road to the maternity ward and that traffic was not the main cause of the incident.

Mazhoranca, through the Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, thanked the medical team for the quick intervention that guaranteed the good health of the mother and baby.

Koçiu emphasized the opposition's responsibility for blocking the roads and the complications created by the protest, using this event to criticize the way it was organized.

This is a way to avoid attention from the permanent traffic problems in Tirana, which are a sensitive issue for the citizens, but for which the government does not react in the same way.

One of the main reasons why the majority does not react when traffic is a chaos in Tirana is because it is a complex problem that requires structural solutions, which have not been fully achieved.

In cases such as protests, the majority uses individual events to reinforce political messages, shifting the debate from long-term challenges such as poor traffic management to criticism directed at opponents.

The majority has not made strong comments on this issue, i.e. traffic, for long periods, despite the fact that traffic is a source of stress and a waste of time for the residents of the capital.

This strategy tries to convince the public that the gridlocked situation is a direct result of the protests, and not the poor management of the city that has contributed to the permanent traffic chaos in the capital.
