Berisha from Brescia: LaCivita is not here for money, but for the ideal of returning the DP to power

From the city of Brescia in Italy, the first international stop after the start of the campaign in Tirana for the May 11 parliamentary elections, the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, focused on the importance of the presence of American strategist Chris LaCivita by his side.

Berisha: On Wednesday in the European Parliament, in the most important committee of this parliament, of Foreign and Security Policy, in a major, extraordinary act, the outrage for Albania took place, totally dedicated to the May 11 elections.

European parliamentarians one after the other denounced the violation of the past elections by the enemy of the free vote, Edi Rama.

They denounced the violence against the opposition.

They denounced the concentration of all powers in his hands. The fusion of his power with crime.

It was you who became the inspirer, who gave heart, soul and optimism to all Albanians who overflowed 'Mother Teresa' square that night with an unprecedented enthusiasm.

Who thought 3 months ago that this would be the Democratic Party today, the party of your ideals.

But friends, who imagined, who imagined in Albania or abroad that, in this campaign, Albanians would be greeted by the man who had been the co-architect of the most powerful return in the history of mankind, President Donald Trump to the White House, Chris LaCivita.

With his arrival in February, the next day Edi Rama fell on the table with his fists, only he did not hit his head.

Now he sees himself lost and tries to give heart to him with the lies he believes.

Friends, our friend Chris LaCivita did not come for money or for influences because other opposition bigger than ours, more powerful, had made him dozens and dozens of offers.

But the architect of the return, he felt that Sali Berisha and the Democratic Party should return to power.
